COVID 19 GUIDELINES FOR CHURCH

Updated Information from the Archdiocese of Cincinnati about Covid-19

The Archbishop has asked that we return to regular seating. Two rows of seats have been taken down to bring everyone closer to the altar. We don’t have a section to reserve for those who wish to keep a social distance, so please arrange your chair so that you feel comfortable with where you have chosen to sit.

We have also resumed taking collections to the basket during the offertory and walking up to the altar to receive communion.

Although masks are no longer required at church. Anyone who wishes to continue wearing a mask is welcome and encouraged to do so.

Beginning with Palm Sunday, 2022, the Greeting of Peace was re-introduced. If you do not feel comfortable shaking hands or otherwise being touched, just give a signal to those around you by not extending your hand, just waving, or continuing doing whatever you have been doing since the pandemic began. Everyone has a different comfort level with this and we’ll all try to respect that.
