The food pantry at Mother of Christ has been in operation since the parish was moved to its present location. In the beginning, the Archdiocese provided a social worker to help with the organization. Willa and James Carlock were the managers for several years. It is open on Saturday mornings from 10:00 am-11:30 am. There has never been a fee and several parishioners have staffed it through the years. Most of the items are donated by the parishioners at St. Mary in Hyde Park, St. Bernard in Spring Grove Village, St. Gertrude, St. Xavier High School, and our own parishioners.
